I absolutely LOVE this place! I've been coming here since I was a little girl at Branch Elementary for our weekly Pizza Night. I moved away several years ago but I come back often and EVERY time it is essential that I make a trip to Klondike's; I usually order an EXTRA pizza to take to go! My boyfriend is from the Bay Area and I brought him here for the first time a few months back and he was blown away!! I don't know HOW they do it, but the LOAD the pizza with delicious toppings and the crust is perfect every time, NEVER soggy! There is a bit of a wait time, but good food takes time; I'd wait an eternity for pizza this good!! Oh God! I need Klondike's now! Start one in L.A., PLEASE! We're in dire need of good pizza here!!

When I was a kid, this was my favorite restaurant. I loved the Alaskan theme. The free peanuts, the pizza, the fun. Then we moved to away and everyone in my family complained that nothing was as good as Klondikes. Recently, I took my own kids to Arroyo Grande (its near Pismo Beach) to see where I grew up and the Klondike is still there. And as great as ever! Nothing has changed. But as an adult I truly appreciate just how good the pizza is and how great this place is for families.

My husband and I have lived all over the US and Klondikes is by far the best pizza we have found. We love the cozy, alaskan theme. And our kids love the free peanuts. The owners are from Alaska and the employees are very nice and helpful. But the best part is the pizza! Try the Reindeer Sausage pizza. And they have two sauces. Red and a garlic one. The garli is really good with the Hawaiian - I didn't used to like Hawaiian style pizza until I had it at the Klondike. They also have really good burgers and salads - but go for the pizza and the fun!
